Traffic in Pasig heating up

by Athena Yap

THE struggle is real!

Now that restrictions are lifted, it is so evident that everyone seems to experience the pre-pandemic Christmas rush and apparently, traffic congestion is back on the road.

When December started, most malls likewise began to extend their working hours to accommodate the Christmas events and shoppers, which is probably why traffic is more congested.

So it is in Pasig City, experienced most especially those coming from Rizal province.

Pasig LGU announced that residents may expect to experience heavier jam on Saturday, December 17 starting at 5pm due to The 2022 Paskotitap Float Parade.

The Pasig Public Information office advised to give way on the following roads:

•  C-5 Road (North Bound: from Arcovia to Eagle St.)

•   Eagle St.

•   Dr. Sixto Antonio Ave.

•   Rotonda Junction

•   A. Mabini St. (Barangay Kapasigan)

•   Plaza Rizal Intersection

•   F. Manalo St. (in front of Pasig City Hall)

•   Caruncho Ave. (both directions: in front of Pasig City Hall)
