MANILA – Watch out K-pop fans, you’re in for a treat!
Fans are in for a K-pop frenzy once again as famous artists are set to perform with Asia’s Queen of Songs Pilita Corrales as they headline their upcoming twin performances in December to pay tribute to the elderly.
Along with the veteran singer, actor Ian Veneracion and Youtube star and dancer Lady Pipay are also set to perform at the events.
Local concert producer Neuwave Events and Productions announced Friday the lineup of performers slated for the second edition of its “Be You” concert scheduled separately on December 8 and 9 at the Mactan Newtown Open Grounds in Cebu and Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
Accordingly, the performers are “Queen of K-pop” BoA, iconic duo TVXQ, and Chen and Xiumin of the boy band EXO.
In addition, P-pop girl group G22 and singer Lukas Magallano will also be performing for the Manila and Cebu shows.
In an earlier tweet, the producer paid tribute to Filipino fans for their warm reception to Korean artistry.
“This December, we will bring back, BE YOU! A three-part event known for celebrating talents from all walks of life and featuring meaningful, heartwarming entertainment for Filipino fans,” Neuwave Events and Productions said.
Even at 85, the Queen of Songs still remains active in the music and performing scene. Just last June, the icon joined fellow music legends Sharon Cuneta and Regine Velasquez in their “Iconic” concert held at the Araneta Coliseum.
