Loisa Andalio, Ronnie Alonte victims of “basag kotse gang” in Cavite

by Athena Yap

SHOWBIZ couple Loisa Andalio and Ronnie Alonte lost their valuables after their car was broken into while they were having dinner in a Cavite restaurant last November 30.

They parked and left  the car in front of a building near Perpetual Molino, but when they returned after the dinner, they found the windows of their Jeep Wrangler Wagon shattered; their iPhone 11 and iPhone13 missing.

As of writing, police still have no idea who were behind the break-in

A fan of the two actors, a certain Julie Alvarez came to check on the couple on Molino Road..

Andalio and Alonte borrowed and  used Alvarez’s phone to go live online and shared their sad experience.

Known to fans as “LoiNie”,  the two said  that it was their first time to become “basag kotse” victims  in their own hometown.

She was heard saying “Grabe ang lala ng ginawa niya, makukulong yan!”

She was heard screaming “sh*t!” while on the live.

Earlier this week, Lt. Gen. Rhodel Sermonia, OIC chief of the Philippine National Police,  said the bureau has increased its efforts to prevent crime during this holiday season, but asked the public to be vigilant as well.

Sermonia directed policemen  to be more visible in public, especially in areas where people converge.

“Mas maganda ma prevent natin ang crime kaysa isosolve natin ang kriminalidad,” he said in a press briefing.

“Excited ang ating mga kababayan na lumabas, kaya kailangan ang mga pulis ay nandyan sa labas,” he added.
