It will be a cloudy and rainy Saturday in parts of the country, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration.
The state weather bureau said a shear line, or the convergence of northeasterly and easterly winds that forms rain clouds, continues to affect extreme Northern Luzon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country are affected by the easterlies, or the warm winds from the Pacific Ocean.
The easterlies may bring cloudy skies with rain showers and thunderstorms in the eastern section of Luzon and the Visayas, and the southern portion of Palawan including Kalayaan Islands.
There is a possibility of flash floods and landslides.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have generally fair weather conditions, but there may be isolated rain showers and thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
It will be warm and humid in the morning and noon in the capital region, and the rains from the localized thunderstorms could come in the afternoon and evening, said Pagasa.
Coastal waters
Luzon will have moderate to rough coastal waters and moderate to strong wind speed.
Visayas and Mindanao will have slight to moderate coastal waters and light to moderate wind.
Gale warning
Pagasa has issued a gale warning for Batanes, Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Norte, and Ilocos Sur.
It advised fisherfolk and owners of small sea vessels in these areas not to go out to sea as the waters are expected to be rough today.
Temperature check
The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 33 to 23 degrees Celsius, while for Tuguegarao it will be from 32 to 23 degrees Celsius and for Laoag 33 to 22 degrees Celsius.
Baguio temperature will range from 25 to 17 degrees Celsius, while Tagaytay will not be as chilly as its temperature will be from 31 to 21 degrees Celsius. In Legazpi, it will be from 31 to 24 degrees Celsius.
The temperature in Puerto Princesa will be from 31 to 26 degrees Celsius, and for Kalayaan Islands it will be from 31 to 26 degrees Celsius.
The temperature in Cebu will be from 31 to 25 degrees Celsius, for Tacloban 30 to 25 degrees Celsius, and for Iloilo 31 to 26 degrees Celsius.
For Zamboanga, it will be from 35 to 24 degrees Celsius, for Cagayan de Oro 31 to 23 degrees Celsius, and for Davao City, 32 to 24 degrees Celsius.
