‘Best Part’ singer Daniel Caesar’s albums to jam to before his second Manila concert

by Joanna Deala

Canadian R&B singer Daniel Caesar has joined the pool of international artists who are set to hold concerts in the country this year.

The 28-year-old singer announced on Tuesday that Manila will be part of his Superpowers tour in Asia. The show will be held on July 19 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City.

This will be Caesar’s third time performing for Filipino fans, following the Wanderland Music Festival in 2018 and his first solo live concert in 2019.

Asia is the first leg of his world tour, which will also take him to South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, and Japan.

Many know Caesar as the voice behind the song lyrics, “I just wanna see / I just wanna see how beautiful you are / You know that I see it / I know you’re a star / Where you go I follow / No matter how far / If life is a movie / Oh you’re the best part.”

That is the Best Part, his hit song in collaboration with Filipino-American singer H.E.R.

Some probably heard him in Canadian singer Justin Bieber’s Peaches, singing to the lyrics, “I left my girl, I’m in Mallorca / Hate to leave her, call it torture / Remember when I couldn’t hold her / Left her baggage for Rimowa.”

But these songs are not the only Caesar songs that made listeners get LSS. The R&B singer has been making bops since 2014.
