LOUD and Proud!

Netizens can’t contain the kilig and proclaimed that “love wins!” after Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2019 Samantha Lo proudly posted a romantic reel of her relationship with Jannica Rubin.

Lo shared the post for Rubin’s birthday.

In her Instagram reel on Wednesday, January 18, Lo and her partner Rubin were seen tightly hugging each other while dancing to the song “Crossing Over.” They also shared a kiss.

Jannica replied with a thank you and used their term of endearment for each other.

Under her  22-second clip, she posted this caption: “I know that many of you will have questions after seeing this post so I will answer the question we all want to know: Yes, I am the little spoon.”

Jannica replied with a thank you and used their term of endearment for each other.

“hahaha thank you baby pea!,” she said.

Many supporters expressed their support for the lovers who have gone public. These include Lo’s fellow beauty queens.

“Que sweet!” Bb. Pilipinas Grand International 2021 Samantha Panlilio said.

Voice-over content creator Inka Magnaye was also happy for the couple.

“Knew it! Haha! Happy birthday @jaaanniiii,” Magnaye commented.

Ms. Chinatown 2020 Cassandra Chan also loved the reel.

“The sweetest! Happy birthday @jaaanniiii,” Chan said.

Since November 2020, many people have already speculated that Lo and Rubin were together because of photos of the two of them that they uploaded on Instagram.

It can be recalled that Lo became controversial during her participation in Miss Grand International 2019 in Venezuela.

Lo was deported by authorities in Paris after she was held at the Charles de Gaulle Airport for allegedly carrying a fake passport. She was then on her way to Venezuela to represent the Philippines in the pageant.

She later said the local organizer who handled her travel preparations failed to give her the proper transit visa.

Lo was eventually able to join the pageant in Venezuela, but she failed to enter its semifinals.

In November 2019, Lo cut short her reign as Binibining Pilipinas Miss Grand International 2019. In her resignation letter, she told Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. that she wanted to take another direction in life.
