Zanjoe Marudo, Ria Atayde get married

by RepublicAsia

THE month of love may be long behind us, but love did not stop there. Well, at least not for Zanjoe Marudo and Ria Atayde, who recently married last March 23.

The two have been rumored to be married for a while, but actor Zanjoe Marudo made it official today. He did this by posting pictures on his Instagram featuring the two on a staircase as they held hands but stood far apart, followed by a cute picture of a delicious cake, and then finally a black and white picture of two in smiles as petals fell around them.

The post was captioned with the date “03.23.24,” which many say is their wedding day. He also greeted his now-wife with a happy birthday through the post.

The two had been romantically linked for a while. They have also been posting pictures of their trips together, and they look very close and happy.

It was not until January of last year that Zanjoe appeared on Karen Davila’s “Headstart,” and he confirmed it.

Since then, the two have been relatively quiet about their relationship until they announced their engagement on February 20. Ria posted on her Instagram that she captioned: “Forever sounds good.” She also paired this with pictures of the two happily in love and her engagement ring.

Ria is the eldest daughter of actress Sylvia Sanchez and businessman Arturo Atayde. She is also the sister of dancer-actress Gela Atayde and Representative Arjo Atayde, who is married to actress Maine Mendoza.

Zanjoe, on the other hand, has appeared on shows like Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Edition 1, where he placed 4th on the show. Since then, he has acted in different media, such as “Can’t Help Falling In Love” and “Dirty Linen.” Recently, he also starred in Netflix’s “Keys To The Heart,” which ranked 10th in the global top 10 in October 2023.
