THREE weather systems — two low pressure areas and the Northeast Monsoon — are affecting the country today. That’s why there’s gonna be a lot of rains in Mindanao and eastern parts of the country.

State weather bureau Pagasa said the two low pressure areas will likely converge within the next 24-48 hours. But don’t worry, it will not form into a tropical depression and will probably dissipate.

Why is that? The cool winds from the Northeast Monsoon or hanging amihan is getting stronger, and could neutralize the heat from the LPA.
