P-pop girl group BINI thanks fans for sold-out ‘BINIverse’ concert

by Joanna Deala

THE EIGHT-MEMBER P-pop girl group BINI had nothing but love and gratitude for their fans, collectively known as BLOOM, for their overwhelming support for the upcoming “BINIverse” concert.

The musical event will be held from June 28 to 30 at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City.

Star Music announced on Tuesday, April 9, that tickets for the second and third day of the concert were sold out in less than two hours. The record label added two dates after tickets for the June 28 concert were also sold out in less than two hours.

The ticket selling for the second and third day was held on Tuesday. In a TV Patrol report, BLOOM could be seen lining up early at the Araneta Coliseum to purchase concert tickets. More and more fans were spotted in the area, with over 500 people waiting in line at noon.

Members of the “Nation’s Girl Group”–composed of Jhoanna, Maloi, Stacey, Colet, Gwen, Sheena, Mikha and Aiah–expressed gratitude for the support they have received.

Jhoanna, BINI’s leader, said that there will be another chance to meet other BLOOMs who couldn’t be present at the concert.

“Sa lahat po ng ‘di naka-secure ng tix, ‘wag kayo mag-alala, maraming beses pa tayong magkakasama. Magtiwala lang kayo sa’min. We love youuuu,” she wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Mikha echoed this and said that the group will have more activities in the future that fans could attend to.

“Sa mga ‘di makabili, please don’t be so [heartbroken] okay? Magkikita pa tayo sa many more ganaps to come, I promise. See you all soonest!” she said.

Meanwhile, Stacey cheered up their fans who couldn’t secure tickets and assured them that they would meet their fans in another event.

“Someday isang bagsakang sigawan, palakpakan at iyakan tayong lahat soon!” she wrote.

She added, “Hindi lang iisa ang araw kaya mangyayari at mangyayari lahat ng ‘yan!”

Aiah hoped that many fans were able to secure tickets for the second and third day of the concert.

“Sana this time mas marami na ang naka secure ng tickets especially yung mga pumila talaga!!” said Aiah.

Excitement for ‘BINIverse’

Colet, Maloi, Gwen, and Sheena expressed their excitement to see BLOOM and hoped that fans will have a great time at their first-ever solo concert.

“Thank you sa effort and patience, we promise to give you a concert na worth it and unforgettable,” said Sheena.

Colet also said, “BLOOMS!!!!!! Grabe kayo magmahal. Thank you so much! See you sa June 28, 29, and 30!!!!!!”

Gwen, meanwhile, hoped that fans would enjoy what BINI will have in store in their concert.

“Sana ma-enjoy niyong lahat yung ihahanda namin and sa mga ‘di naka-secure, we will make sure na may susunod pa toh kaya wag kayo mag-alala masyado,” she said.

Maloi added that the three-day concert will be the “highlight” of their journey as P-pop idols.

“Let’s walk together, sasamahan namin kayo sa lahat. I love you BLOOMs, sobra,” she said.

Fans previously clamored for a bigger venue for the “BINIverse” concert and suggested it to be held at the Araneta Coliseum. Several netizens said the organizer should have picked another venue instead of adding concert dates.

The “BINIverse” concert was announced, following the release of their latest diary-inspired extended play “Talaarawan” on March 8. The album has six tracks including “Pantropiko” and “Salamin, Salamin,” which went viral on TikTok.

Many personalities have danced and sung to “Pantropiko,” including rookie K-pop girl group UNIS. Its two Filipina members, Gehlee Dangca and Elisia Parmisano, and Korean member Lim Seowon, recently made a cover of the hit summer song on a YouTube video posted by 1theK Originals.
