If you are planning to take a bus ride home to Bicol via the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), you can’t sing “I’ll be home for Christmas” because all trips are now fully booked.
The PITX management said that passengers bound for Bicol had formed long lines, and that based on their records, there are no more available seats until December 24.
The only way for other to get home is to be a chance passenger or wait if one of the booked tickets failed to make it on time.
But likewise, the bus terminals along EDSA showed that passengers are also experiencing delays as buses from Bicol cannot immediately return to Manila.
This is due to the mega traffic at Camarines Sur due to a one way road as a result of a landslide.
Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista had inspected the situation at the Manila North Port and boarded a passenger ship to check on the situation.
There are similar Bicol bus routes, ship trips to Cebu and Bacolod that are also fully booked until December 24.
