How did celebrities spend Holy Week 2024?

by Joanna Deala

FILIPINOS took Holy Week as an opportunity to take a little breather from their busy schedule and enjoy valuable time with their loved ones.

Some of them had staycations, while others went back to their provinces. Several flew to other countries to appreciate different sceneries.

Celebrities enjoyed the long weekend, too. From going to beaches and getting close to nature in the country to traversing other nations, here’s how they spent their Holy Week 2024:

Anne Curtis

“It’s Showtime” host Anne Curtis explored the streets of Taipei, along with her husband Erwan Heussaff, and daughter Dahlia. On Instagram, the actress shared a few snaps and clips of their trip which included them going to a fish market and letting Dahlia play a balloon popping game.

Heart Evangelista

Work didn’t stop for actress and fashion icon Heart Evangelista as she traveled from one country to another this Holy Week. She first had an art-filled trip in Hong Kong as she attended the Art Basel art fair and met Japanese artist Takashi Murakam, before heading to her next destination: Bangkok, Thailand.

Bea Alonzo

Actress Bea Alonzo spent her Holy Week in South Korea. She fed her curiosity about the enormous Starfield Library as she finally visited the place, which was located in the center of COEX Mall in Seoul.

Cassy Legaspi

Actress Cassy Legaspi also visited the same library during her South Korean trip. Based on her Instagram posts, she walked the streets of Seoul and even tried the popular color analysis to know what colors best suited her.

Vhong Navarro

Also in South Korea was “It’s Showtime” host Vhong Navarro to spend quality time with his family, visiting Nami Island and Gangnam.

Kylie Padilla

Meanwhile, actress Kylie Padilla seemed to have a serene trip in Japan, where she visited the popular amusement park, Fuji Q Highland and took a photo of Mount Fuji, the highest mountain in the country.

Julia Barretto

Actress Julia Barretto was also in the Land of the Rising Sun where she enjoyed taking photos with cherry blossoms in full bloom. But she wasn’t entirely in Japan for a vacation; she was also there to film for her upcoming movie “Hold Me Close” with actor Carlo Aquino. This new movie is their reunion project with director Jason Paul Laxamana.

Gabbi Garcia

Actress Gabbi Garcia had a fruitful Holy Week abroad and in the Philippines. She initially left Manila for Singapore to attend the global campaign launch of a travel suitcase brand, along with fellow Filipina actress Sarah Lahbati and South Korean star Mun Ka Young. She also enjoyed a yacht cruise in Singapore with the travel suitcase brand. Returning to her homeland, Garcia immediately flew to a beach resort in Mactan, Cebu where she’s now spending Easter Sunday.

Kyle Echarri

Like other ordinary Filipinos, young actor Kyle Echarri went to his hometown in Cebu where he could be seen savoring the breathtaking beauty of the sunset at a beach.

Michelle Dee

Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee was also one with nature, taking dazzling photos of herself and the sunset at a beach in El Nido, Palawan.

Heaven Paralejo

Actress Heaven Paralejo got her much-needed beach therapy in a resort in Bohol, soaking under the sun, and took a boat ride.

Kramer Family

Team Kramer–composed of Doug Kramer, Chesca Garcia, and their children Kendra, Scarlett, and Gavin–drove from La Union to Baguio to reunite with their relatives. Their Holy Week trip included eating out in restaurants and having a basketball game with their family.

Like these celebrities, we hope you enjoyed a well-deserved break and quality time with yourself and your loved ones this Holy Week. Happy Easter!
