‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ cast reunites for Kathryn Bernardo’s 28th birthday

by Joanna Deala

IT has been four years since the romance film “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” topbilled by Kapamilya star Kathryn Bernardo and Kapuso actor Alden Richards, premiered in cinemas, but the bond that its cast members formed in 2019 remains intact to this day.

This was evident when the cast members–consisting of Bernardo, Richards, Maymay Entrata, Kakai Bautista, and Lovely Abella–reunited to celebrate the 28th birthday of Asia’s Superstar in El Nido, Palawan on Tuesday, March 26.

The “Hello, Love, Goodbye” cast members posed for a photo aboard a yacht, as seen on Abella’s post on Instagram.

“My Ga namin!! Happy birthday we love you so much!!” Abella said in the caption, tagging Bernardo.

On the other hand, Bautista shared videos of her bonding moments with Abella and Entrata on an island where they could be seen jamming to music, including “Blank Space” by Taylor Swift.

Bernardo is known to be a Swiftie or a fan of the American singer-songwriter. In February, she attended Swift’s “The Eras Tour” in Australia.

“Hello, Love, Goodbye” was Bernardo and Richards’ first movie tandem, directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina. Their team-up was well-received by many viewers that it earned multiple accolades and was previously named the “highest-grossing” Filipino movie with P880 million in global gross sales. The title is now with Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2023 official entry “Rewind,” topbilled real-life celebrity couple Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes.

Birthday celebration

Bernardo’s birthday bash has been trending on X (formerly Twitter) as netizens shared photos and clips from the event, which was attended by various well-known personalities.

One of them was fashion designer Mark Bumgarner, who customized Bernardo’s all-white beach-themed suit, featuring several sea shells, pearls, and starfish decorations on its right hip part.
