It is only two months into 2025 but Filipino fans have already been gifted with a Manila leg of concerts and fan meets of several big names in the K-pop scene.
The latest addition to the list of K-pop powerhouses who will fly back to the country is Kim Jisoo of girl group BLACKPINK.
On Tuesday, Jisoo’s agency, BLISSOO, announced that Manila will be part of the K-pop idol’s first “Lights, Love, Action” fan meet tour in Asia.
It will also include Bangkok, Tokyo, Macau, Taipei, Hong Kong and Hanoi.

Further details about the Manila stop—such as the exact date, venue, and ticket prices—are yet to be revealed.
BLACKPINK last visited the Philippines in March 2023 for its “Born Pink” concert tour at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan.
Debut solo album
Jisoo’s solo fan meet is being held in support of her forthcoming first solo mini-album, “Amortage.”
The K-pop idol describes “Amortage” as “a fusion of amor (love) and montage, capturing the essence of love’s journey – fleeting moments stitched together into a vivid, unforgettable reel.”
The album will include four tracks namely “Earthquake,” “Your Love,” “Tears,” and “Hugs & Kisses.”
Jisoo participated in writing all these four tracks, which she called “Four Fragments of Love.”
She first teased about her comeback in January, posting a short clip of a running polygraph machine.
“Amortage” will be dropped on February 14, coinciding with the celebration of Valentine’s Day.
Deal with Warner Records
On January 28, the singer-actress inked an international record deal with Warner Records and said she is “excited” about this new era and the continuation of her musical journey.
“I feel like I’m just getting started and I’d like to thank the BLINKs for all of their love and support,” she said.
She went on, “This is just the beginning and I’m thrilled to kick off this seismic moment with Warner Records.”
Jisoo debuted as a solo artist with the release of her singles “FLOWER” and “All Eyes on Me” in 2023.
Aside from her musical comeback, Jisoo is set to return to the small screen with “Newtopia.”
This K-Zombie series will feature the BLACKPINK member and actor Park Jeong-min’s chaotic and comedic side as they play the role of a couple stuck in a zombie virus outbreak.
“Newtopia” will premiere on February 7 on Prime Video.
