FILIPINO students still have two weeks left before the classes open for the academic year 2024-2025.
That does not mean there is no more time for adventures!
In May, the Philippine government approved the July 29 opening of classes, gradually returning to the old June-March school year by 2025.
The decision came amid the clamor for the immediate return to the old academic calendar year due to the extreme heat experienced in the country in the previous months, resulting in the successive suspension of in-person classes.
Students and faculty members went through a lot in the past school year, which is why they deserve a much-needed break, away from the hustle and bustle to refresh and refocus.
There’s so much to do in the Philippines that even several Filipinos have not done yet. One example is exploring Luzon, the largest island in the country.
