AREAS in Cavite were scorched to 47 degrees celsius heat index on Thursday as the Philippines were baked anew.
According to state weather forecasters, several areas reached 45 degrees Celsius in Metro Manila.
But Cavite felt an intense heat of 47 degrees Celsius.
In Dagupan City in Pangasinan , people were feeling a heat index of 46 degrees Celsius.
The other heat indices recorded at 45 degrees are predicted in Subic Bay, Olongapo City; San Jose, Occidental Mindoro; Aborlan, Palawan; and Roxas City, Capiz.
