Carlo Aquino on Charlie Dizon: ‘I’ve never fallen in love this way before’

by Izel Abanilla

ACTOR Carlo Aquino said that he has never been in love with someone as much as he is with girlfriend Charlie Dizon right now.

He made the admission on ABS-CBN’s Magandang Buhay on Tuesday.

During the interview, program host Regine Velasquez asked Aquino if he had loved with such intensity before.

“You have more experience than Charlie, and at the same time, you have more experience as far as love is concerned, ang tanong ko, have you ever fallen in love this way before?” Velasquez asked.

He answered, “Hindi po, hindi. Saka ‘yung love na mas binibigay niya sa akin ‘yung mas nangingibabaw, kesa dun sa, feeling ko ah, mahal niya ko talaga.”

Velasquez also asked the same question to Dizon.

‘’Actually, Ate Reg, para sa’kin, si Carlo ‘yung biggest surprise talaga, as in,” Dizon answered.

Dizon then turned emotional, sharing how her love for her boyfriend grew.

“Nung una iwas na iwas ako, so before parang hindi ko talaga ineexpect ‘yung timing niya and all. Pero first time ko na-feel na ah bakit parang open ako ngayon, tapos siya lang talaga din ‘yung nakagawa non,” she said.

“Ngayon ko lang talaga na-experience ‘yung ah ganto pala ‘yung may jowa talaga,” she added.

Aquino interjected and shared a relationship anecdote he saw on social media.

“May nakita rin ako sa social media na hindi daw palaging 50/50 yung kayang ibigay everyday sa isang relationship. Ako minsan, kaya ko 20 lang kailangan ‘yung partner mo ibigay 80% and ‘yun ‘yung nararamdaman ko sa’min, he said.

It can be remembered that their relationship was not well received by netizens, who blamed Dizon for Aquino’s split with former partner Trina Candaza.

After three years, Aquino admitted to having ended his relationship with Candaza, with whom he has a daughter, Enola Mithi.

Meanwhile, it was in July 2023 that Dizon finally admitted her romance with the controversial actor.

Earlier this year, Candaza admitted in a tell-all interview with veteran talent manager Ogie Diaz that she still loved Aquino but would not push herself towards someone who did not want her back.
