NEW YORK CITY – It was an unseasonably humid and warm day in the fall season here in New York City. But that didn’t stop people from lining up outside The Palladium Times Square as early as 1 pm for the  8pm concert of Pinoy Pop Group SB19.

The concert of SB19 WYAT US Tour in New York City – their first-ever US concert– was sold out at the last-minute!

Fans of SB19, who call themselves A’tin, danced and sang together with their idols. A’tin Fan Club members come from other US States, and as far as the United Kingdom and Canada.

The concert lasted for three hours. SB19 performed their hits like “Bazinga” and “WYAT (Where You At).”

They are also the first Southeast Asian act group to enter the top 10 of Billboard Social 50 weekly and year-end charts.

The New York concert was part of the US leg of the “SB19 WYAT: Where You At” Tour.”   On November 12, they will perform live in Los Angeles.

The last leg of the world tour will be in Singapore on November 27.

Nakapasok na ang isang paa natin kung saan makikilala ang Filipino music all over the world”

Ken, main dancer: “First step ito para ma-reach ang mga goals namin. Isang hakbang ito sa hagdan na paakyat. So we’re very happy na nandyan pa rin ang mga fans namin. We’re one of the lucky artists na mabigyan ng ganitong opportunity na makapag-perform sa US. ”

Josh, lead rapper/ dancer: “Now that we’re here hindi na namin sasayangin ang opportunity dahil matagal na namin pangarap ito na masasabi na unang hakbang para mai angat natin ang musikang Pilipino at maipagmamalaki na natin sa wakas ang talentong Pilipino at isa kami sa mga instrumento para manyari yon.”
