Vanessa Hudgens is officially on the roll in discovering the Philippines and her first stop is the breathtaking island of Palawan.
On Instagram, the actress posted a video of an early morning hike to catch the famous Palawan sunrise.
She said: “5am hike to the top of the world”.
Hudgens ended the post with hashtags #philippines and #palawan.
She also shared an Instagram story about her trip saying “Well, good morningggg.”
Hudgens’s fans were elated to see that the actress was having a blast in the country. They showered her with a warm “welcome home” message.
Hudgens is in the Philippines for the first time to film a travel documentary set to explore her mother’s roots.
The “High School Musical” star was born to Filipina mother Gina Guangco and American father Greg Hudgens. Guangco emigrated to the US at the age of 25.
Presidential Adviser on Creative Communications Secretary Paul Soriano is set to direct and produce the documentary.
Hudgens is best known for her role as Gabriella Montes in the hit movie “High School Musical” and Stacy De Novo and Lady Margaret Delacourt in the Christmas romantic comedy film “The Princess Switch.”
