EVERYONE’S favorite childhood trio from Beverly Hills is back!
The hit animated series Totally Spies! is getting revamped and will be returning to Cartoon Network and Max for its 7th season.
This will be a continuation of the original six-season run of the 2D animated franchise that was aired in 2001 on ABC Family before moving to the Cartoon Network the following year.
French media company Banijay Kids & Family confirmed Warner Bros. Discovery’s acquisition of the rights to the upcoming season of the spy-fi series.
It noted that French broadcaster Gulli and Discovery Kids LatAm have previously been announced as co-producers of the Zodiak Kids & Family France show. Zodiak is part of Banijay Kids & Family.

“The 2D animated franchise, Totally Spies!, returns to screens in 2024, following its original six-season run beginning in 2001,” it said.
The rebranded Totally Spies! will be produced by Benoît Di Sabatino and directed by Stephane Berry, who also directed the past five seasons of the animated show.
Meanwhile, Zodiak Kids & Family Distribution will handle the global distribution for the franchise.
The trio in a new city
Totally Spies! follows the story of three high school students – brainiac Sam, fashionable Clover, and clumsy Alex – who try to balance their academics and their secret lives as undercover agents for the World Organization of Human Protection (WOOHP).
The trio is widely known for the impressive new gadgets they use every episode to get out of any situation they get tangled up in.

Totally Spies is like an animated version of the classic Charlie’s Angels. But unlike the film, the girls can see their boss through a compact mirror instead of just hearing him give instructions through a speaker box.
While the previous episodes of the animated series showed the girls embarking on their college lives, the company said that the forthcoming season will be a rebranding of the girls attending high school again in a new city.
“The new series stays true to all the key elements that make the show so popular, but has been lovingly updated for a new audience, reflecting the modern challenges faced by both high-schoolers and spies alike!” Di Sabatino said in a press statement.
