The first ever Southeast Asian Tour of Seo In-guk is off to a successful start. His fan meet last August 12, Saturday at the News Frontier Theater in Quezon City was filled with liveliness from his Filipino fans.
Prior to his anticipated fan meet, Seo In-guk answered questions from the press, where he expressed his sheer excitement to hold a solo fan meeting here in Manila.
“I really feel excited to do my first-ever fan meeting here and I am grateful to finally be able to show my fans what I prepared,” the singer-actor said.
During his fan meet, he showed the crowd as to why he was dubbed as the ‘King of fan service’ and “an all around entertainer” as he made fans feel thrilled with his irresistible charm during his performance.
Just after he played his first song, he already won the hearts of the Filipino fans with his beautiful greetings “Kamusta na kayo mga bebe ko? Na-miss niyo ba ako? Na-miss ko kayo!”
In addition, he surprised the audience with a performance of Ikaw by Yeng Constantino. The crowd cheered for him and thanked him for his efforts as he mentioned that he had a “hard time” rehearsing the Original Pilipino Music (OPM).
“As soon as I heard you guys, the screams and the fact that you were waiting all day long, it really cheered me up and I really am getting strength” he added.
In-guks fan meet which was promoted by Epic Events and organized by Karen Borador, let his Filipino fans or also known as ‘Heartriders’ to get to know him more and made them feel closer to one another as he made his own version of Halo-halo and even played enthusiastically the local traditional game Sipa.
Aside from fun-filled activities, the singer-actor Seo In-guk also has his next plans for his acting and singing career. He excitedly shared that his drama will be the adaptation of the Webtoon ‘Death’s Game’, which will be released this December. He guarantees to the fans that he will also comeback with a new album.
The Café Minamdang star acknowledges his achievements and even praised his fans for their undying love and support.
