The Corrs to perform in 2-night concert in Manila

by Izel Abanilla

ARE you ready for all the love in the world?

Irish family band The Corrs is joining the roster of international acts performing in Manila this year, as it will headline a two-night concert at the Araneta Coliseum on October 21 and 22.

Producer Pulp Live World officially announced the band’s visit to Manila on Twitter.

“Ready to give all the love in the world for The Corrs? The phenomenal Pop Rock sensation is finally coming back to Manila to perform LIVE for 2 consecutive nights for their Filipino fans. Catch them this October 21 and 22 at the Big Dome,” it said.

The announcement had nostalgic Pinoy fans raving, and they shared their excitement about seeing the group perform in Manila for the first time since 2001.

Ticket prices have yet to be announced, but these will be made available at 12 noon on March 19 via Ticketnet.

Get to know the Irish siblings

The Corrs is made up of siblings Andrea, Sharon, Caroline, and Jim Corr. They rose to fame in the early ‘90s and eventually became one of the biggest acts of the decade. They are known for their music that combines their traditional Irish influences with pop rock tunes.

The band, however, went into a hiatus in 2006 to raise their own families and to pursue their own careers.

But they surprised fans when they announced their “one night only” comeback concert in Australia in 2022. But their reunion did not end there.
