THE BOYZ main rapper Sunwoo thrilled Pinoy fans when he uploaded a TikTok video of him dancing to the Pinoy song Call Me (Ring Ring) by Skusta Clee.
Sunwoo’s TikTok video was a hit on Twitter as fans raved over his music choice. Others even joked that this confirms that he is Filipino. The phrase “SUNWOO PINOY” even trended as netizens jumped in on the joke.
The Call Me (Ring Ring) dance craze started on TikTok, in the account of @khenniee. The dance went viral in the Philippines, with numerous TikTok users uploading their own versions.
The dance has apparently reached South Korea, and Sunwoo did his own version on the video sharing app.
Fans are saying that Sunwoo might have done this for Filipino fans since his group will be performing in the Philippines for the K-Verse: The Ultimate Pop Universe concert that will take place today, April 11, 2023, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Get to know THE BOYZ
THE BOYZ is an 11-member boy group from South Korea. Aside from Sunwoo, the other members are Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Haknyeon, and Eric.
The group debuted on December 6, 2017 with the track Boy. It was previously managed by Cre.ker Entertainment but is now under IST Entertainment.
The group is also known for emerging as the winner in the survival show Road to Kingdom, where various K-Pop groups will cover songs and perform them with different concepts, excluding the final round where they perform original songs. THE BOYZ won for their original song CHECKMATE.
After that, The BOYZ was invited to the survival show sequel, Kingdom, where it finished 2nd place with the song KINGDOM COME.
THE BOYZ recent comeback song, ROAR, was released last February 20, 2023.
