TAYLOR Swift may finally add the title city mayor in her resume – if she accepts the invitation to become honorary mayor of Tampa, Florida.
To pay tribute to Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour in Tampa, Florida, city mayor Jane Castor invited the multi-awarded popstar to take over her duties and become mayor for a day.
The video invitation was posted on this city’s social media pages.
Castor said aside from the one-day mayorship, Tampa will also present its key to the Lavender Haze singer, light up the Old City Hall, the Tampa Riverwalk, and the downtown bridges red in honor of Swift’s concert.

Tampa’s “version” of The Eras Tour will take place at the Raymond James Stadium on April 13 to 15, with Filipina-British singer-songwriter Beabadoobee as the show’s special guest.
This is not the first time Swift was honored by the cities she visited for the tour.

Glendale City in Arizona renamed itself as “Swift City” for the March 17 and 18 leg, while Las Vegas lit up the Gateway Arches forMarch 24 and 25 tour. Arlington, Texas, meanwhile, presented Swift with the city’s key.
Swifties are also anticipating what’s in store for the 12-time Grammy winner at Los Angeles, the city next in line for The Eras Tour.
The Eras Tour’s United Stated leg kicked off in Glendale on March 17 and will end on August 9 in Inglewood, California.
Swift has yet to announce the dates and venues for the tour’s international leg.
