FILO SONE’s, get ready to wave those pink hearts again!
Girls’ Generation’s leader and vocalist Kim Tae-yeon, better known by her stage name Taeyeon, promised fans that she would return to the country for a solo concert.
This came after her performance at The Ultimate Pop Universe – K-Verse concert stage on Tuesday, April 11, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The South Korean artist sealed her word of honor with a pinky promise alongside the concert’s host, actress Denise Laurel.
Taeyeon said that it seems that she needs to go back to the Philippines soon because of the warm welcome she received from fans.
“The atmosphere is so hot, and it seems I really need to come back here soon,” she told fans.
The SNSD member is one of the K-Pop acts that performed at the Big Dome during the K-Verse event, along with fourth generation girl group aespa and boy band THE BOYZ.
This is the second time that Taeyeon has dropped by Manila to meet her Filipino fans. In December 2018, she visited the country for her ‘s…TAEYEON CONCERT in Manila at the New Frontier Theater, formerly the Kia Theater in Quezon City.
Taeyeon debuted in 2007 as one of the members of one of the most successful KPop girl groups, Girls’ Generation, or SNSD, along with Sunny, Jessica, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, and Seohyun under SM Entertainment.
She started working on her solo project in late 2014 and debuted as a solo artist in 2015 with the release of her first extended play (EP) called I.
Further, she recently dropped her third full-length album, INVU, on February 14, 2022.
