Super Junior’s Donghae, Eunhyuk to return in Manila in September

TWO members of the iconic South Korean boy group Super Junior will be holding their much-awaited fan concert in Manila this September.

Lee Dong-hae and Lee Hyuk-jae, better known as Eunhyuk, will bring delight to Filipino ELFs as they stage the D&E WORLD TOUR FANCON, as announced by the group’s official Twitter account.

The event, which is also called the DElight Party, will be held on September 30 and will be presented by local concert organizer CDM Entertainment.

Additional details regarding the fan concert, such as the venue, ticket prices, and seat tiers, will be announced soon.

The Manila show by Donghae and Eunhyuk will be the duo’s last stop during the Asian leg of the world tour. Aside from the Philippines, the Super Junior members will also visit countries including South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia.

The fan concert will mark the duo’s seventh visit in the country, following the previous Super Shows they staged in Manila with other Super Junior members as a full group.

They last visited the country for the Super Show 9 in December 202 at the SM MAll of Asia Arena.

About D&E

D&E is a subunit under the popular second generation KPop group Super Junior.

Composed of members Donghae and Eunhyuk, the duo debuted in December 2011 with the release of their first digital single Oppa, Oppa.

Donghae and Eunhyuk have also released several successful singles, extended plays, and six albums throughout the 12 years of their musical career.

These albums include RIDE ME (2014), The Beat Goes On (2015), STYLE (2018), Bout You (2018), DANGER (2019), BAD LIAR (2020), and COUNTDOWN (2021).

About Super Junior

Super Junior is a South Korean boy band formed by SM Entertainment. 

They debuted on November 6, 2005, with 12 members including Leeteuk, Heechul, Han Geng, Yesung, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, and Kibum. Later, Kyuhyun joined the group in 2006.

Currently, the group has only ten active members after Han Geng, Kibum, and Kangin left the band in 2011, 2015, and 2019, respectively.

Super Junior quickly gained popularity in the Korean music industry and became known for their energetic performances and catchy music. 

They were one of the pioneers of the “Hallyu Wave” or Korean Wave, which refers to the global popularity of Korean entertainment and culture.

In addition to their music career, the members of Super Junior have pursued various individual activities such as acting, hosting TV shows, and appearing in musicals. 

The boy band has released numerous albums and singles, including hits like Sorry, Sorry,Mr. Simple, and Bonamana. 

They have also received numerous awards and accolades throughout their career, both in South Korea and internationally, including MYX Music Award for International Video in 2018, Teen Choice Award for Choice Fandom in 2015, MAMA Artist of the Year award in 2007, and MAMA Best Male Group award in 2011.
