Security Bank on Thursday said it had suffered technical issues that prevented customers from making necessary transactions for two days.
The bank reported on Wednesday that technical issues hit the following services:
- Security Bank Online (web and mobile app)
- DigiBanker
- Cash and Trade Portal
- Salary Advance (SALAD)
- PESONet
- Branches
- Payroll
- eKYC
People took to social media to complain about the system downtime.

On Thursday afternoon, the bank said its services and channels ”are back up and available” as of 1:45 p.m.
It also apologized to its customers.
”Operations are business as usual. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding,” it said.
