CHRISTMAS will be merrier for A’Tin and Blackjacks as they will receive a special gift from P-pop powerhouse SB19 and K-pop superstar Sandara Park.
Park, also known as Dara, announced that she would collaborate with the phenomenal quintet on a “special project” in December.
Further details about the forthcoming collaboration are still under wraps, but Park told their fans, collectively known as A’Tin and Blackjacks, that it is something that they should look forward to.
The South Korean star announced this during the Acer Day 2023 concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Sunday. Park is the newest Acer Philippines’ brand ambassador.
Park is a former member of the popular K-pop girl group 2NE1. But despite the group’s disbandment in 2016, the 38-year-old singer continues to be popular among K-pop fans from different generations. Park recently dropped her self-titled debut digital extended play, with “Festival” being the lead single.
SB19, on the other hand, is currently embarking on the U.S. leg of their “Pagtatag!” world tour. The group previously collaborated with various artists, including American singer-songwriter JVKE, Filipino folk-pop band Ben&Ben, and Filipino girl group BINI.

Other artists who performed at the Acer event were Sarah Geronimo, screen couple Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano (also known as DonBelle), Ely Buendia, Ben&Ben, December Avenue, Sponge Cola, Mayonnaise, Zack Tabudlo, and Sunkissed Lola.
During the event, Park and Geronimo also said that they are both up for a collaboration with one another.
“Do you want to have a Sandara and Sarah collaboration?” host Robi Domingo asked the crowd. A loud “yes” echoed inside the arena as response to the question.
“Gusto ko, gusto ko. Let’s do it in the future,” Park told Asia’s Popstar Royalty on stage.
The K-pop star was also supposed to perform in the highly anticipated The Super Stage By K-pop in Manila — along with girl groups MAMAMOO+ (composed of Solar and Moonbyul), Kep1er and Lapillus — but the event has been canceled.

While fans await Park and Geronimo’s collaboration, the “Tala” singer joined forces with SB19 for a song titled, “Ace Your World.”
The track, written in English and Filipino, encourages listeners to face whatever challenges come their way with unwavering grit and determination.
The pre-chorus of the song goes, “Now’s the time for us to take control; No matter what you do, you gotta ace your world; Don’t get all skeptical, you better step into the light; To find the might and let your spirit glow.”
“Ace Your World” has been available on various digital music platforms since August 4.
