Fans of P-pop kings SB19 are celebrating their victory in Billboard’s Fan Army Face-Off, making the terms “A’TIN ang tagumpay” and “Panalo Tayo” trend on X.
The fans, collectively known as A’TIN, edged out K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN and their fanbase, CARATs, in the final round of the competition, earning 51.1 percent of the votes cast.
CARATs, meanwhile, garnered 48.9 percent.
Billboard congratulated A’TIN, along with a short video message from their idols.
In the clip, the P-pop megastars expressed their appreciation to their dedicated fans for their efforts and said that this victory is all for A’TIN.
While they continue to embark on their “PAGTATAG!” world tour, SB19 did not forget to congratulate and thank their A’TIN.
“You’ve once again proven the power that you hold,” the group said in another X post.
The quintet has concluded the U.S. leg of their tour, and will now head to Canada.
There were 64 fandoms that competed in this year’s Fan Army showdown to find out whose fanbase is the strongest.
A’TIN succeeded STAY, the fandom of K-pop boy group Stray Kids, whom they competed against in the 2022 Billboard Fan Army Face-Off.
Apart from these two groups, other Fan Army Face-Off winners are fans of K-pop groups Super Junior, BIGBANG, and T-ara.
A’TINs celebrate win
Following the announcement, many A’TINs couldn’t help but feel emotional about their achievement.
Some fans, meanwhile, expressed how proud they were to be part of the fandom.
