KPOP superstar Sandara Park announced on Tuesday that she will be releasing her second solo album since her debut as member of the world renowned KPop girl group 2NE1.
Also called “Pambansang Krung-krung” by her Filipino fans, Sandara went on social media platform Twitter to confirm that she will finally release another album.
In a tweet, Dara shared that she only listens to tracks she recently recorded nowadays.
In the replies, excited fans asked the Korean star if there will be a dance track and a possible collaboration with another artist. In her reply, Dara said she would love to consider this.
Sandara also mentioned that a dance song is = included in the tracklist because she is both a singer and a dancer.
The 2NE1 vocalist and sub-rapper also gave fans a big spoiler as she told them the concept of her upcoming album will be her name.
Fans might get tropical vibes in her forthcoming album but in a Sandara Park version, she said.
The Korean artist also revealed that her album will be composed of songs with varying genres after being asked by a fan. She said there will be a ballad and a “Dara-style love song” in the abum.
Dara’s fans also poked fun at the singer-rapper and jokingly asked her not to do “crazy hairstyles” in her debut as a solo artist, as she did with the promotions of 2NE1 songs.

But Sandara said she should do both crazy and beautiful hairstyles in the promotion of her solo debut album.
As fans grew more excited about her forthcoming album, Dara said it’s too early to talk about the record as it is still winter in South Korea. Her album is expected to come out sometime during the summer season.

Sandara Park debuted as a solo artist in 2004 with the release of her first solo extended play called Sandara. The album consists of Filipino songs and was released after she joined a talent show competition in the Philippines called Star Circle Quest.
In 2009, she debuted in South Korea as a member of the girl group 2NE1 along with other members CL, Park Bom, and Minzy.
Dara also starred in several Filipino films during her career in the Philippines. This includes Because of You (2004), Can This Be Love (2005), and D’ Lucky Ones (2006).
