Will there be a collab with Pinoy singer?

In 2020, the English singer noticed viral Filipino singer Carl Malone Montecido and commented on how incredible he sang one of Smith’s hit songs, Too Good At Goodbyes.

Through his Instagram and Twitter account, Smith shared Malone’s video with the caption, “WHO IS THIS KID!!!!!? YOU ARE OUT OF THIS UNIVERSE WHOEVER YOU ARE.”

Smith also said in a previous interview that he believes Malone is a better singer than him and he is willing to collaborate with the visually-impaired balladeer.

“It would be an absolute honor to sing with him. He’s incredible. He’s a better singer than I am. I’ll be so scared singing with him. He’s unbelievable,” said Smith.
