The much-awaited Metro Manila Film Festival Gabi ng Parangal officially announced its winners Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at the New Frontier in Araneta City in Quezon City.

Best Actor: Ian Veneracion (Nanahimik Ang Gabi)
Best Director: Mikhail Red (Deleter)
Best Picture: Deleter
2nd Best Picture: Mamasapano: Now It Can Be Told
3rd Best Picture: Nanahimik Ang Gabi
Best Supporting Actor: Mon Confiado (Nanahimik Ang Gabi)
Best Supporting Actress: Dimples Romana (My Father, Myself)
Best Float: My Father, Myself
Best Child Performer: Shawn Niño Gabriel (My Father, Myself)
Best Sound: Deleter
Best Musical Score: Greg Rodriguez III (Nanahimik Ang Gabi)
Best Original Theme Song: “Ang Aking Mahal,” Mamasapano: Now It Can Be Told
Best Visual Effects: Deleter
Best Production Design: Nananahimik Ang Gabi
Best Editing: Nikolas Red (Deleter)

Gender Sensitivity: My Teacher

Fernando Poe Jr. Memorial Award: Mamasapano: Now It Can Be Told
Best Screenplay: Mamasapano: Now It Can Be Told
Horror-flick “Deleter” made a sweep after it bagged seven awards including Best Picture, Best Actress for Nadine Lustre and Best Director for Mikhail Red. It also won four other technical awards such as Best Sound, Best Visual Effects, Best Editing by Nikolas Red and Best Cinematography.
Lustre also sparkled as the festival’s Star of the Night.
It was followed by the suspense-thriller “Nananahimik Ang Gabi” with five awards, namely Best Actor for Ian Veneracion, Best Supporting Actor for Mon Confiado, 3rd Best Picture, Best Musical Score and Best Production Design.
Veneracion, too, was the male Star of the Night.
“Mamasapano: Now it can be told” meanwhile had four awards particularly 2nd Best Picture, Best Original Theme Song, Best Screenplay and the Fernando Poe Jr. Memorial Award.
