Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown posted on Instagram a picture of herself wearing a ring while hugging her boyfriend, Jake Bongiovi.
Brown accompanied her post with lyrics from Taylor Swift’s “Lover.”
“I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ‘em all,” it said.
The actress’ post seemed to be an engagement announcement, especially when her Stranger Things and Enola Holmes co-stars Noah Schnapp, Amybeth McNulty, Cary Elwes, Randy Havens, Gabriella Pizzolo, and Sam Clafflin greeted her in the comments. Even Instagram congratulated the couple!
Bongiovi also posted a picture of him and Millie with the caption “Forever.”
Netizens were quick to speculate that the two had just announced their engagement. Some were happy, while others said that Brown was too young to be engaged and get married. Brown is 19 years old, while Bongiovi is 20 years old.
Prior to the assumed engagement announcement, Brown and Bongiovi were spotted holding hands in New York in 2021. The two kept quiet about the relationship for months until Brown posted a blurry picture of her and Bongiovi on Instagram in November 2021.
Bongiovi, on the other hand, posted a picture of him and Brown on his Instagram account.
Brown confirmed in her WIRED interview on YouTube that they met through Instagram as friends, which later developed into a romantic relationship.
