ART enthusiasts listen up! You can finally experience the genius of renowned artist Michelangelo without leaving the Philippines.
His masterpieces will be coming to Manila later this year through an exhibit called Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel which will be available for viewing from July 1 to September 30 at Estancia Mall in Pasig.
This expo has initially been held in various locations around the world including Melbourne and Brisbane in Australia, Shanghai in China, London in England, Breslau in Poland, Mexico City, and different parts of the United States.

The Sistine exhibit promises to offer a “life-size, up-close, never-before-seen perspective” of the sculptor-painter-poet-architect’s most celebrated works using high-definition technology that allows spectators to enjoy an immersive experience by appreciating the details of Michelangelo’s artworks.

“Michelangelo’s artistic masterpiece in the Sistine Chapel broke new ground in portraying the dynamic creative acts of God, but his work also depicts the combined importance of men and women through all of sacred history,” said art historian Elizabeth Lev.
While the exhibit released a sneak peak of some of the displays that can be enjoyed in the showcase through its official website, ticket details are yet to be announced soon.
