Who is Frizzle Anne?

Radio and Spotify addicts surely know of Frizzle Anne, a singer-songwriter signed under OC Records.

Just like most singers, she started singing when she was young, at the age of three, specifically. But she never had proper training or had a chance to prioritize music until after she was discovered in 2018.

Although she has many inspirations for her music, she said she did not want to copy from anyone and is bent on pursuing her own brand.

“I want to be that artist with a distinct yet versatile signature sound and style. So I plan to release more songs that will make for that Frizzle Anne brand of pop. How I’ll achieve that is a secret for now,” she told republicasia.

She grew up listening to the songs of composers like Ryan Cayabyab, Louie Ocampo and Soc Villanueva, whose songs were popularized by singers like Regine Velasquez and Sarah Geronimo.

She will be dropping her next single “Anlala” this coming Friday, March 3.

Frizzle Anne currently has more than 22,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.

Her debut single “Di Para Sa’Kin” has more than 294,000 streams.
