BEEN counting the days since November, and now this girl group is making history on Billboard’s Hot 100!
Emerging South Korean girl group FIFTY FIFTY makes history by being one of the K-Pop groups to secure a spot on the Billboard Hot 100.
The quartet’s hit single, Cupid, debuted at the last place on March 29. As of this writing, FIFTY FIFTY’s viral track made it to the Hot 100’s 94th spot, marking their second consecutive week on the chart.
This is the fifth time a K-Pop group has emerged from the list, along with BLACKPINK, TWICE, NewJeans, and Wonder Girls.
Billboard’s Hot 100 list tracks the weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States based on streaming activity, radio play, and album sales.
Further, Cupid reached its peak position at the 39th spot on Billboard’s Global 200 list. It placed 65th the previous week.
Aside from its Hot 100 and Global 200 recognition, FIFTY FIFTY also ranked 9th in Billboard World Digital Song Sales.
The group’s music video for Cupid received a warm welcome from K-Pop fans as it gained over 18 million views on YouTube one month after its release.
Composed of members Aran, Keena, Saena, and Sio, the group also reached another milestone by hitting more than 15 million monthly listeners on digital music streaming platform Spotify.

The song Cupid – Twin Ver. gained over 65 million streams, while the original version gained 38 million streams.
It also placed 19th in the platform’s Top Songs – Global charts, overtaking other fourth generation groups like NewJeans, IVE, ITZY, and others who previously entered the list.
The group debuted in November 2022 under the South Korean entertainment agency Attrakt. It released its debut extended play, called THE FIFTY, with four tracks including Tell Me, Lovin’ Me, Higher, and Log In.
In February, it released its single album, The Beginning: Cupid. The song became one of the most popular songs on short-form video sharing platform TikTok, with over 477,000 posts hopping on this trend.
