MAMAMOO is coming back for you, MooMoos!
Two members of the South Korean girl group MAMAMOO, Solar and MoonByul, are warming up to return to the limelight with brand new music.
As confirmed by their label, RBW Entertainment, the subunit composed of Kim Yong-sun and Moon Byul-yi called MAMAMOO+ is preparing for a comeback.

“MAMAMOO+ is preparing with the aim of making a March comeback. We will inform you of the detailed schedule later,” the company told South Korean media.
This comeback follows the subunit’s debut in August 2022 with the release of its first single, Better, an R&B collaboration with Korean rapper BIG Naughty.
Solar and MoonByul are part of the four-piece girl band with WheeIn and HwaSa. MAMAMOO recently held their sold-out concert on February 12 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Possible collaboration
While other details regarding the subunit’s comeback are yet to be announced by RBW, it seems that Solar and MoonByul have spilled the possibility of a sexy concept being featured in their next single.
In a YouTube live on Solar’s channel, fans asked the pair, also called MooMoos, about the future concept that MAMAMOO+ will be having.
The two let their fans vote for the concept, with choices ranging from sexy, cool, or cute. In the end, fans have favored the sexy-themed comeback, which Solar and MoonByul also acknowledged.
Since the original framework of MAMAMOO+ involves collaboration with another artist, fans postulate that this forthcoming release from the subunit will feature Red Velvet’s Wendy.

In a Twitter post, a MooMoo, a term used to refer to MAMAMOO’s fandom, shared her theory based on the alleged easter eggs from Solar and Wendy.
The two KPop vocal queens celebrated their birthdays on Tuesday, February 21. Eagle-eyed fans can’t help but notice the similar wands the two female idols held in their respective Instagram birthday posts.
