THE Philippine concert stage will be awash with talent and visuals this rainy season as three K-pop girl groups will be in the country in August for a collaborative concert.
MAMAMOO’s subunit MAMAMOO+, Kep1er, and Lapillus will be holding The Super Stage by K-pop, as announced by a local organizer, on August 11 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
“BETTER be ready to BURN WITH LOVE on the LVLY and SUPER K-POP experience we prepared for you,” OctoArts Entertainment said.
Further details regarding the K-pop act are yet to be announced.

The Manila show will mark MAMAMOO+’s second visit to the country after staging their first solo concert as a full group in February.
Although Lapillus have previously held a fan meeting with Filipino Lapis, this will be the group’s first time performing at a concert.
The Super Stage will also be Kep1er’s first concert in the country.

MAMAMOO+ is the first subunit formed under the female quartet MAMAMOO.
The subunit is composed of Solar (Kim Yong-sun) and Moonbyul (Moon Byul-yi).
The duo officially debuted as a subunit in August 2022 with the release of their first digital single, Better, an R&B collaboration with South Korean rapper BIG Naughty.
In March, MAMAMOO+ dropped its highly anticipated single album called ACT 1, SCENE 1 , which consists of tracks GGBB, Chico malo, and LLL.
MAMAMOO, on the other hand, was formed in 2014 under the management of RBW Entertainment.
Aside from Solar and Moonbyul, the group also consists of Wheein (Jung Whee-in) and Hwasa (Ahn Hye-jin).
The four-piece ensemble has released a number of hit songs, including Hip, Starry Night, Egotistic, and Gogobebe, to name a few.

Kep1er is a K-pop group formed through the Mnet reality survival show Girls Planet 999 in 2021.
