Celebrity couple Maine Mendoza and Arjo Atayde have officially tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in Baguio City on Friday, July 28, 2023.
According to reports, the couple exchanged their “I do’s” in a Christian wedding at Alphaland Baguio Mountain Lodges.
The event, organized by event planner Amanda Tirol, was so intimate it was attended only by family and very close friends of the couple.
The E.A.T host reportedly wore a Rajo Laurel gown as she walked down the aisle. Atayde, meanwhile, had his brother Xavi as his best man.
On Instagram, Mendoza shared snaps of her and her now husband in wedding attire.
However, the actress did not indicate specific details about the post.
Among their principal sponsors were fellow “E.A.T.” hosts Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, Joey de Leon Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri and current House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
The date July 28 had been circulating in gossip columns as the day the two will get married, thanks to Maine’s prophesying “Arjo cutie” tweet on the same day, ten years ago, in 2013. But neither the bride nor the groom had confirmed it until news of their wedding came out early Friday evening.
