WHAT does she mean? 

Ever vocal Maggie Wilson said her noticeable silence on social media was for the sake of a “new born baby.” 

On her Instagram stories, Wilson, a former beauty queen and actress, clarified the reason for her online hiatus. 

“Many have asked why I’ve been so quiet on social media in light of this alleged redacted prenup and my son,” she said. 

“In the last few days, I have heard some challenging news. Although there are many things I can say or actions I could take, morally it would be wrong to do so,” she added. 

She assured her supporters that she isn’t holding back in the fight concerning the issues between her and her estranged husband, businessman Victor Consunji.

But when another life is involved, she knows why and when to step back, she said. 

“Don’t think I’m not fighting, but sometimes in life, like when there is a new born baby involved, we have to take a step back,” she said.

She just asked for prayer for the innocent child. 

“I would like to ask that you say a little prayer for the baby. After all, I am too a mother who would never wish ill on any child,” she said.

Wilson, however,  did not mention whose child she was referring to. She did not provide information about it. 

Controversies 

The actress has been among the most talked about personalities on social media because of her marital issues. 

Since her separation from her husband, the two have been throwing shade at each other publicly. 

Last year, Wilson refuted the adultery allegations of her husband, whom she then accused as the one who was actually having an affair during their marriage. 

In July 2022, The Taguig Regional Trial Court issued a court order granting Wilson a 72-hour temporary restraining order against Consunji.

Later, Wilson appeared to have spilled the tea about the supposed pregnancy of her husband’s alleged partner.

“Her testing positive, (not for covid) is the summary of my 2022,” she said. 

“And it’s not me. I’m on trial for alleged adultery. Lol,” she added. 

Although Wilson did not mention any name, netizens were quick to speculate that she might be referring to Rachel Carrasco, who has been seen with Consunji.
