Delicious Filipino food and beverages are always available at HEY BBK All Day Cafe, which also has visually appealing interiors.
Menu
Republic Asia had the opportunity to try some of their most well-liked dishes and beverages.
In Filipino culture, meals are not complete without rice.
We tried their famous homemade Angus tapa (P330), made with Angus beef tapa, garlic sinangag, soft boiled egg, atchara, fried leeks, and spring onion, paired with pinakurat vinegar.
The vinegar really complements the tapa well, as it balances the dish’s strong flavors. However, I am worried that the fried leeks on top of the tapa would be difficult for people who have braces.
The Truffle Bacsilog (P350) has crispy bacon, butter mushroom rice, a sunny-side-up egg, caramelized onions, and fried leeks, paired with their special truffle bacsilog sauce.
It was like a level-up bacsilog inspired by the traditional silog that can be found in streets and corners. Make sure to eat it while it’s fresh and hot!
Hey BKK also served us their best-selling desserts, or panghimagas in Filipino.
Their Ubebe Cake, which is available for only P160 per slice and P1200 for the whole, is really a must try. The sweetness and gentleness of the ube flavor can be tasted in every bite.

It is not Pinoy if there’s no kakanin, and one of the specials at Hey BBK is their Classic Mini Bibingka, which you can avail of for only P110. It is topped with cheese, which adds more flavor.
Signature drinks
Hey BBK’s signature drinks also have Filipino flavors.
One of their signature drinks is the Iced Ube Latik Latte (P170). It has a creamy texture—smooth, foamy, not bland, but just the right sweetness.
Of course, coffee lovers can try out their Espresso (P120), Americano (P120 for hot, P130 for cold), Latte (P150 for hot, P160 for cold), Cappuccino (P150 for hot, P160 for cold), Hazelnut Mocha (P170), Chocnut Latte (P160 for hot, P170 for cold), Caramel Latte (P170), Flat White (P150), and their best seller, the Spanish Latte, which costs only P160.
They also have a diverse set of specialty drinks, such as iced teas, sodas, and milk-based drinks.
Indeed, HEY BBK shows that we can enjoy Filipino dishes and drinks without spending too much or traveling too far.
For intimate events such as birthdays, art workshops, brunches, Christmas parties, corporate events, and many more, you may inquire and visit them on the 2nd floor of SM North EDSA beside the IMAX Theatre.
