Nevertheless, despite seeming differences, celebrity couple Cristine Reyes and Marco Gumabao have been serving relationship goals since admitting their romance.
Besides being two of the most beautiful people in showbiz, there is one notable thing about them– their six-year age difference. Reyes is 34, while Gumabao is 28.
But as they say, age is just a number. In fact, the two have been pointing out in interviews that their age gap had hugely been beneficial to their relationship.

Back in 2019, Reyes certainly did not have an inkling yet of what would happen four years later. In an interview on Tonight With Boy Abunda, she played the “Totropahin o Jojowain” game. Among the choices were Gumabao. Without a second thought, she said he’s simply “totropahin.”
“Si Marco, we’re friends. Ang bata pa ni Marco. Ano ako cougar?” she said.

Four years later, a photo of them together in Siargao went viral and sparked rumors on social media that the two might be playing sweet music together.
To finally clarify the issue, members of the entertainment media caught up with the actor during the press conference for his movie Baby Boy, Baby Girl last March. The actor admitted that they’ve been “very, very close.”
When asked if they were already together, he said: “Tanungin niyo po siya.”
3. Beach time
Not long after, Reyes posted a photo of her with her now rumored boyfriend and actress Ella Cruz.
4. Fitness buddy
Further fueling rumors, Gumabao posted a photo of him with the actress after a workout session.
He tagged her in the photo as his “Workout buddyyyy.”
5. Martyr or Murderer co-stars
The two were also able to work together when they co-starred in the highly controversial film Martyr or Murderer. Gumabao played the young Ferdinand Marcos while Reyes played Imee Marcos.
6. Beach kisses; tropa no more
After months of guessing games, the two finally admitted to the public that they were together. They announced their relationship through social media posts of them having a sweet time kissing and hugging each other at the beach.
The 28-year-old actor’s happiness was very evident in his caption on Instagram: “You are my home and my adventure all at once ❤️😘”
7. Teleserye co-stars
Blessings seemed to rain on their relationship after they were both chosen to star in the television remake of Minsan Pa Nating Hagkan ang Nakaraan on the Kapatid network.
8. “I’ve never been more shore”
For some, it may be premature to tell if they would last since they’ve only been together for months. But Gumabao seems to be already sure about his lady love.
“I’ve never been more Shore 😜Can’t wait for our next adventure ❤️ @cristinereyes,” he said in a recent Instagram post.

Aside from their city adventures, the two also love the outdoors. One activity they both enjoy is off road driving.
