KPop group aespa to perform in Manila in April

Another Korean act will be landing in the Philippines to perform at a forthcoming KPop concert in April.

The all-female South Korean group aespa has announced that it will be joining the lineup for the anticipated Ultimate Pop Universe – K-Verse on April 11 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The four-piece girl band was the first artist to be revealed for the live music performance. This also marks the Savage hitmaker’s first visit to the country since the group’s debut in November 2020.


The Ultimate Pop Universe – K-Verse is a music festival that is set to feature various South Korean artists and performers.

More artists in the lineup and other concert details will be disclosed soon, while ticket prices will be announced this week as per the event organizer, Make It Live Asia.

The announcement of aespa’s Manila concert tour came after the end of the band’s first ever concert, Synk: Hyper Line, on February 25 to 26 in their home country.

The group is also set to perform at the Outside Lands music festival on August 11 to 13 at the Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, California.

The music show will also feature other prominent music personalities including Lana Del Ray, Kendrick Lamar, The 1975, Megan Thee Stallion, and Zedd.

Meet aespa!

Composed of members  Karina, Giselle, Winter, and Ningning, aespa debuted under SM Entertainment in 2020 with the release of its debut single Black Mamba.

Aside from the members’ overwhelming visuals, aespa has also proven its talent and capability as a music group after winning various awards in different music shows and categories.
