President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has declared June 28, Wednesday, a regular holiday across the country in observance of Eid’l Adha.
Marcos signed Proclamation 258 on June 13.
Eid’l Adha, one of the key holidays in Islam, marks the end of the hajj, or pilgrimage, to Mecca. It also emphasizes the values of sacrifice and obedience to Allah.
