by Joyce Remo

POPULAR Japanese dark fantasy anime Jujutsu Kaisen will be back on screen for the second installment of the franchise this July, two years after it was first released.

The second season for the well-received animated TV series will be released on July 6, as previously announced by the series’ official Twitter page.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 also released another trailer for the upcoming series that features the iconic characters from the series including Satoru Gojo and Yuji Itadori as they battle evil forces in an attempt to save mankind from the chaos and perils brought by the Special grade cursed spirits.

Further, the story will focus on the fan-favorite sensei Gojo during his time as a sophomore year at Tokyo Jujutsu High in 2006, approximately 10 years prior to the present-day events of the first season.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will be coming on the video streaming site Crunchyroll.

Meanwhile, the first installment of the anime franchise will be removed on Netflix on June 2.
