FILIPINO ONCEs, are you ready?

South Korean girl group TWICE just dropped the new dates for its READY TO BE World Tour, and the Philippines is on the list of places where the group will perform.

The other locations are Singapore, London, Paris, Berlin, and Bangkok.

The concert will take place at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on September 30, 2023.

The forthcoming concert is in part 2 of TWICE’s READY TO BE World Tour that started on April 15 at the KSPO Dome in Seoul.

READY TO BE World Tour Part 1 is still ongoing, and TWICE’s next destination will be the Quidos Bank Arena in Sydney on May 3, 2023. 

The next destinations will be Melbourne, Osaka, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Oakland, Seattle, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Toronto, New York, and Atlanta. Part 1 of the READY TO BE World Tour will end on July 9, 2023.

Fans hope for more dates

Filipino ONCEs had been clamoring for JYP Entertainment to bring TWICE to the Philippines, where it has a huge fanbase. Prior to the concert announcement, some thought the agency had forgotten about the country. 

But while many were elated that TWICE will be coming to the Philippines, others were concerned that one night may not be enough to accommodate all the fans.

Live Nation Philippines announced that it will be organizing the concert and distributing the tickets. Ticket selling dates and other details of the concert have yet to be released.

The concert will take place in the Philippine Arena, is one of the world’s largest indoor arenas and has a maximum seating capacity of 55,000. 

It has hosted concerts by international artists such as  Harry Styles, Blackpink, and SEVENTEEN. Bruno Mars will also be holding a one-night concert in the Philippine Arena on June 24, 2023.
