Is SB19 teasing a comeback?

FANS of the Filipino boy group SB19, known as A’Tin, were intrigued when the group changed its profile picture on all social media platforms on the midnight of April 25. 

The change sent the fans abuzz, and they flooded social media with speculations about what this could mean. 

The new profile photo is a black and white stylized “SB” logo in the shape of a diamond, with SB19 written below it.

On Twitter, the phrase “NEW ERA IS COMING”  trended with A’Tin. The tweets are mostly of the fans getting surprised and excited by the sudden move by SB19.

Many speculate that their favorite group is going to release a comeback album or track.

Some Twitter fan accounts have also chosen to change their profile picture to hop on the trend and support SB19.

Also trending was the hashtag #SB19Nanunundo, which could indicate the title of SB19’s comeback track or album.

Despite the trend started by fans, neither SB19 nor ShowBT, the group’s promoter, have confirmed a comeback for the performers.

SB19’s latest activities

No news of the group’s future activities have been confirmed. SB19’s most recent post in its Instagram account is its collaboration with Pepsi Philippines. The group’s members have been endorsing Pepsi Philippines since 2021 along with Mimiyuuuh, Kathryn Bernardo, and Daniel Padilla.

Last March 29, 2023, SB19 bagged six awards from the 4th VP Choice Awards. 

They took home the awards for Group Performer of the Year, P-Pop Song of the Year and Music Video of the Year for WYAT, Male TikTok Face of the Year’ for member Stell, Composer of the Year for Pablo, and Fashion Influencer of the Year for Ken.
