Heavy rains brought on by the combined effects of the low pressure area and southwest monsoon (Habagat) on Thursday flooded roads in Metro Manila and forced the cancellation of several flights.

Meanwhile, the following flights were canceled due to ”unfavorable weather condition,” the Manila International Airport Authority said.

At 3 p.m. the LPA was located 90 kilometers northeast of Infanta, Quezon or 85 km southeast of Baler, Aurora, while the southwest monsoon is affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, according to the state weather bureau PAGASA.
