MANY millennials and Gen Zs grew up reading and watching the magical story of “Harry Potter,” from the series of books to the big screen.
And now, Filipino fans of “Harry Potter” have the chance to bring that magic to life as “The Magical Music of Harry Potter Live in Concert” is coming to the Philippines for the first time.
Organizer Kbeam Events announced the ticket details for the concert, which is set to take place on July 7, 2025, at the Manila Metropolitan Theater in Ermita, Manila.
Ticket prices range from P2,200 for Balcony 2, P3,600 for Balcony 1, P5,999 for Loge, P2,600 for CAT 5, P3,600 for CAT 4, P5,100 for CAT 3, P5,999 for CAT 2, and P6,720 for CAT 1.
Tickets will be available on January 3 via Ticketmelon’s website.
What to expect
“The Magical Music of Harry Potter Live in Concert” will feature music by several composers including five-time Oscar winner John Williams and Scottish composer Patrick Doyle.
Williams is known for his music from “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Jaws,” “Star Wars,” “E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial,” and “Schindler’s List,” which all earned him Oscars.
He worked on the film scores of the first three “Harry Potter” movies: “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” in 2001, “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” in 2002, and “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” in 2004.
Meanwhile, Doyle has scored dozens of films, including “Hamlet,” “Henry V,” “Rise of the Planet of the Apes,” “Thor,” and “Cinderella.”
He scored the Mike Newell-helmed film “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” in 2005.
Aside from William and Doyle’s music, over 40 international musicians will perform sone iconic scenes from the popular movie at the show.
The organizer also teased about a “’Weasley’ special guest from the films.”
“The Magical Music of Harry Potter Live in Concert” will start at 5 p.m., but gates will open at 3:30 p.m.

“Harry Potter” follows a young boy named Harry Potter and his journey to discovering the truth about himself, his family, and the evil that haunts the wizarding world as he attends the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and meets new friends.
Before it was brought to the big screen, “Harry Potter” was a series of fantasy novels written by British author J.K. Rowling.
In the film series, Daniel Radcliffe portrays Harry, Emma Watson as Hermoine Granger, Rupert Grint as Ron Weasley, Bonnie Wright as Ginny Weasley, Tom Felton as Draco Malfoy, and Matthew Lewis as Neville Longbottom, among others.
