IN celebration of the International Identity Day, LRT-2 and MRT-3 grants free train ride for National ID holders on September 16.
This free ride is only free from the schedules of 7 am to 9 am and 5 pm to 7 pm.
Free train ride can be avail through the presentation of any National ID, whether it bea card, in paper form, or digital.
Furthermore, registration and issuance of National ID forms as well as assistance in accessing the Digital National ID will be accessible in booths which can be found in MRT-3 Cubao and Taft stations.
In celebration of International Identity Day, it commemorates the most human asset-identity-and its crucial role in transitioning to a digital society, as per the Philippine Identification System website.
In 2018, the Philippine Identification System was first established under Republic Act No. 11055.
