South Korean boy group EXO’s dancing machine Kai is set to rock the KPop music scene for the third time with the release of his new solo album called Rover.
As announced by EXO’s company, SM Entertainment, Kim Jong-in, famously known by his stage name Kai, will drop his third solo album on March 13 at 6 pm (KST).
This new record from EXO’s lead dancer will consist of six songs, with its title track bearing the same name as the album.
According to EXO, Kai’s title song “is full of ‘wild hip’ vibes, hyping up for a new performance to be shown with ‘Rover’”
The release of Rover will mark the artist’s third solo project, following the well-loved Peaches (2021) and his self-titled mini album KAI (2020).
Kai stuns in comeback teasers
In preparation for the release of his album, Kai has been dropping several teasers to build up the excitement of his fans.
The EXO member knocked out fans and netizens alike for his overflowing visuals as he posed as an angel with neon green wings in a poster containing the schedule of his comeback gig.
Meanwhile, he also showcased his incomparable charisma in another set of teaser photos while wearing a denim set adorned with sparkling pearls.

Who is EXO?
EXO is a nine-member boy group comprising Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Baekhyun, Chen, Chanyeol, D.O., Kai, and Sehun. The group is well-known for producing and performing songs extensively in Korean, Japanese, and Mandarin.
The all-male group debuted in April 2012 with its first mini album Mama. Initially, the group consisted of 12 members, but Chinese members Luhan, Tao, and Kris left the group in 2014 and 2016.
In 2020, the group’s label, SM Entertainment, produced an album called 1 Billion Views with EXO’s second sub-unit EXO-SC composed of members Sehun and Chanyeol.
However, it has been three years since EXO released its last album OBSESSION, as a full group.
EXO is reportedly making a full-group comeback this year, as confirmed by its leader, Suho.
